Step 1a: Install the SmartVideo Plugin (WordPress)

Skip the manual code - just install the plugin and it will handle the JavaScript snippet for you. You can download it directly from the WordPress Plugin Directory.

Step 1b: Add the SmartVideo Snippet

If you're using a non‑WordPress platform, simply use the Configurator in the Swarmify Dashboard to generate your custom JavaScript snippet, the paste it into your site’s <head>.

Auto‑conversion: Existing Vimeo embeds are automatically upgraded to SmartVideo playback with no extra steps.
Manual embed: Use the <smartvideo> tag to point to any MP4, HLS, or DASH source - S3, Dropbox, pCloud, Wasabi, WordPress, your WordPress Media Library, the SmartVideo Library, or your own server.
