Does SmartVideo provide DRM?

Not yet — full DRM is on our roadmap. SmartVideo currently protects your videos with multiple methods that prevent users from downloading your content, so you can use SmartVideo in your password protected or subscriber only areas of your site and rest easy.

No security is fool-proof though and even the most complicated of setups with enterprise class DRM can still fall to dedicated content thieves willing to spend the time to bypass countermeasures. Luckily, most customers are looking just to make it not simple for users to casually download your content, which we cover for you.
